Your aim as a photographer is to get a picture of that person that means something. Portraits aren’t fantasies; they need to tell a truth.
— Tim Walker (fashion photographer)

You

You value what truly matters—family, love, and the beautiful chaos of real life. You might feel a little uneasy about being in front of the camera, and that’s okay—I get it, because I’ve been there too.

You’re not looking for stiff poses or someone barking directions at you. You want a photographer who blends in, capturing those unfiltered moments where everyone’s just being themselves.

It’s not just about how things look; it’s about how they feel. You want photos that tell a story—full of the laughter, the quirks, the connections that make this moment yours. Relaxed, honest, and uniquely you.

HOW I WORK

My photography is inspired by natural light, rich and organic colours, and the heartfelt emotions that make your story unique. For me, it starts with building a connection—because understanding who you are is the key to creating photographs that feel authentic and meaningful.

I specialise in honest, creative documentary-style photography that captures life as it unfolds. There’s no pressure for picture-perfect poses, because real moments—filled with laughter, love, and personality—are far more powerful than a staged editorial.

Working with me is a collaborative process. From the moment we start planning, I’m here to guide you and help make everything feel effortless, so when shoot day arrives, it’s all about being present and enjoying the moment. My goal is simple: to create images you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

FAQ’s

Q: what is your style of photography?

A: My photography is all about capturing natural light, rich colours, and genuine moments that reflect who you truly are. I focus on a candid, storytelling approach—those unguarded, “in between” moments where real emotions shine through.

You won’t find stiff, overly posed portraits here. Life isn’t a magazine spread, and most of us aren’t professional models—that’s what makes it beautiful. For me, photography starts with getting to know you and your story, allowing us to create images that feel honest, personal, and timeless.

Q: WHY DO YOU ONLY PHOTOGRAPH AT SUNSET FOR ON LOCATION SHOOTS?

A: Achieving beautiful images is all about the light, which is why I only shoot during Golden Hour for on location sessions. If you have a baby or a small child and this timing doesn't suit your routines, I would suggest booking a session during Autumn/Winter. If you have small children and you really need your portraits done, we can always shoot at Sunrise!

Q: how long have you been photographing?

A: Professionally, just over 10 years now, with a break in the middle. I’ve been holding a camera in one form or another for nearly 14 years.

Q: do you travel?

A: Currently I am only taking on work in my local areas which include the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury and the Greater Penrith region. This is purely due to being a Mum to two young children. :)

Q: Do you backup our photos?

A: I am extremely thorough with my backup and archiving process for anything I photograph. As I shoot, images are stored on two separate SD cards and I change cards frequently throughout the day to minimise the very rare chance of a hardware failure. These cards are stored in a water, fire and shockproof case and once I’m home, I backup your images to three separate storage facilities.

Q: will you be the person photographing our session?

A: Absolutely, and this is one of the most important and critical questions to ask any potential photographer you may be interviewing. From our initial consultation, to communications leading up to your day and to your actual session day and after; it’s just me who will be working with you.

Q: why do you only take limited bookings each year?

A: It is especially important to me that I safeguard the quality of the service I provide, and the work I produce for my clients, as well as allowing myself the freedom to be present with my family. I live a very minimalist lifestyle and truly believe in balance between work and life.

Q: do you photograph WEDDINGS?

A: I do not photograph all-day weddings anymore unfortunately.

Q: how do i pay and how much is the deposit?

A: I’m quite flexible with payments - you don’t need to pay in a lump sum.
However, a 30% non-refundable deposit as a retainer and a signed contract is required when securing your booking. The remaining balance is to be paid 2 weeks before your scheduled shoot.

Q: what if we need to postpone?

A: I absolutely understand things don’t always go to plan, and we can always reschedule for another day at no extra cost.

Q: what is the best way to contact you?

A: Emailing me is the best way to contact me, as I’m not always contactable by phone if I’m out on location photographing.

Q: how do i find more info on your services?

A: Contact me and you will receive a comprehensive brochure with full pricing options, information and FAQ’s specific to the type of photography you’re enquiring about.

Q: DO YOU DO GIFT VOUCHERS?

A: Yes! Please contact me for more information on gift vouchers.

Q: how do i book with you?

A: Once you’ve contacted me and you’ve had a look at the brochure I’ve sent you, we can organise a time and day that’s suitable for a consultation at no cost if you wish. It gives you a chance to ask me any questions you may have, and we both get a feel if we are the right fit for each other. That connection is so important when choosing your photographer.
